Most people seek jobs that match their desires, interests, and skills. A job is something a person does to earn money; a career is work a person does that they are passionate about.

People should seek careers that fit their unique personalities and skills; matching careers to personalities requires some introspection and self assessment. Books, tests, websites and other resources are available to help people identify suitable careers.

Finding a career that suits one's personality involves identifying personal skills and job related skills. The right qualifications for a career are essential; beyond that employers look for people with leadership skills, drive, and attitude.

Most career positions are not advertised in newspapers or online; career seekers should be diligent about seeking opportunities. Assessing skills, preferences, education, and aptitudes helps career seekers be realistic while searching for careers to suit their personalities.
